Fellowship for PhD students

We support exceptional PhD candidates to apply for the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). As a recipient of the HKPFS, you will receive an annual stipend of HK$331,200 (approximately US$42,460) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year

Each awardee of the Fellowship will also receive an entrance scholarship from CityU (around HK$89,496/~USD11,473)!

RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme

We have exciting opportunities available for Postdoc candidates in our research group, specifically for the application of the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme. Successful recipients of the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme will receive a generous stipend totaling HK$ 1,260,270 (i.e., HK$ 420,090 per year for 3 years), along with a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$ 13,350 per year.
